Synopsis

Welcome to a truly SPECIAL Advent Calendar!
A Leporello that, when fully opened, is as long as the city of Bethlehem!
Each day you will discover a new Christmas word and search for it within the illustration.
Look carefully, explore every detail… once you’ve found it, attach and reattach your stars in the right spots. Discover the 25 stories in the booklet and listen to them in the podcast to experience the wait for Christmas, day after day, word after word.

An Advent Calendar of Waiting—but what are we waiting for?
Who are we waiting for? Find out together with all the characters who inhabit this vast night landscape.
How many are there? Find them all. Where do they come from? What do they bring? Where are they going? Some arrive from faraway places and times, some are here with us unexpectedly—our very own neighbors.
There is joy, celebration, peace: the lion with the lamb, winter with the roses. What is happening? Has the world been turned upside down? Why are we waiting? Let’s set out on the journey with children, Magi, and animals.

Discover all the wondrous signs that accompany that Child born among us.
And in the booklet of 25 words, you will find the way to Bethlehem because: now it’s Christmas once again!

Educational Purpose and Contents

Where are we going? Are we still waiting for something?
A Leporello that nurtures wonder and curiosity, helping to search, recognize, and read the images and characters that make up daily life and the Holy Christmas within a majestic night landscape.
A Leporello for Peace. Here, contemporary homes merge seamlessly with castles of the past and ancient Middle Eastern houses; city families walk and play alongside lions and lambs, kittens riding on tigers.
In this vast, mysterious stage set teeming with life, PEACE—embodied in a small Child and signaled by a Light—recomposes conflicts and differences, time and space, not by erasing them but by exalting the symphony they create as they journey together.
